One of the purposes of this blog is to inspire creativity.  We were each born with the ability to create, and I believe that true joy comes to us as we use the talents we have been blessed with to make the world around us a better, more beautiful place.

With this in mind, I’m super excited to have the opportunity to review Crystal’s book!  I have two little girls at my house, and as I’ve looked through these crafts, I see SO MANY things that they would love!  This book is full of lots of cute projects that just about anyone can create.  Keep reading to learn about a few of my favorites.

A Few of My Favorite Caticorn Crafts

No Sew Caticorn Crafts

How cute is this Caticorn pillow?!?  And the sleep mask to go with it?  Both of these projects are made using super soft white fleece.  The best part, though?  Neither of these projects require any sewing skills.  Crystal includes templates in her book so you can create all the embellishments you see here.

Caticorn Dream Catcher

Of all the projects in this book, I think the dream catcher is my favorite.  I just love it!  I love the ribbons and other embellishments hanging from the bottom, and I think the colors Crystal used are so pretty!  The dream catcher is formed around a simple embroidery hoop, which means you can make it in lots of different sizes.  Crystal’s instructions come complete with pictures for each step, which takes away any intimidation factor you might feel.

Caticorn Crafts Made with Markers

A few years ago, I rediscoverd my love of coloring things.  I have compiled quite the collection of adult coloring books, and I have my own special supply of markers, pens and colored pencils.  I love that Crystal includes crafts that involve coloring.  Don’t you love this charm bracelet?

I also love plants and flowers.  Crystal includes a couple projects that will bring the beauty of living things into your home.  One is even an up-cycle project that anyone can make.  Again, cutting templates, etc. are all included.

In addition to the few projects I’ve highlighted, Crystal Allen’s Caticorn Crafts book includes a variety of fun activities for you to create.  So . . . go grab your copy, and:
